DI PAOLA GROUP ORIGINS
Our story began in 1958 when our company’s founder, Giuseppe Di Paola, immigrated to Canada from Italy. Like many immigrants, Giuseppe worked hard to provide for his family and give them the best life he could. Giuseppe worked as a carpenter on residential properties when he came to Canada. From carpentry framing to cabinetry, he did it all. But Giuseppe always wanted to start his own business, one that would grow and incorporate the people who mattered most to him, his family.
The company soon took shape and became The Di Paola Group – a team of dedicated and professional construction and real estate experts operating out of Vaughan, Ontario. Today, Giuseppe is joined by his son Ralph in 1986 and grandson Joseph in 2015, and this generational team manages both commercial and residential construction projects across the GTA and Simcoe County.
With 60 years of business experience across different facets of the construction and real estate industries, the Di Paola Group continually exceeds our tenants’ expectations. GIUSEPPE DI PAOLA
Giuseppe Di Paola immigrated to Canada from Campania, Italy in 1958. From Italy, Giuseppe learned the carpentry trade and brought everything he learned to Canada. Specializing in finishing carpentry which encompasses trim, stairs, doors, flooring and more, Giuseppe started his own carpentry business in 1962 and called it Di Paola Carpenters. Through his company, he worked throughout the GTA.

RALPH DI PAOLA
In loving memory, April 14th 1964 – February 9th 2022
Ralph Di Paola is the son of Giuseppe and the second generation in this family business. He studied Computer Programming but always worked hands-on with his father’s business from a young age during his summers off of school. In 1986, Ralph joined his father full-time, and they both established Di Paola Construction Ltd. that same year. Through many years of hard work and determination, Ralph took what started as a small family business and grew it into a construction and development company with an impressive portfolio of 13+ commercial plazas, as well as a number of residential properties, owned and managed by the Di Paola Group.

JOSEPH DI PAOLA
Joseph Di Paola is the son of Ralph and the third generation in the Di Paola family business. Joseph graduated from George Brown College with a Construction Engineering Technology diploma and studied Property Management at Humber College. Joseph has also taken several Business Management courses at the University of Michigan online to round out his expertise. Like his father before him, Joseph began working in the family business during his summers off from a young age and officially joined the company in 2014. Seven years later, he was a founding member of the Di Paola Group.

ADELE DI PAOLA
Adele Di Paola is the daughter of Ralph and the third generation in the Di Paola family business. Adele graduated from York University with a B.A. Hons in Criminology and earned a Dual J.D. from the University of Windsor School of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Adele worked as a litigator from 2016-2018 at a boutique law firm in Toronto. She proceeded to open her own solo practice in 2018 in the areas of real estate law, corporate and commercial law and wills / estates law. In 2022, she joined the Di Paola Group as Corporate Counsel.
